There are 2 services that you’ll need for a functioning site - a domain and a website hosting plan for it. Whenever you type the domain address in your Internet browser, you see the content that is uploaded within the hosting account, but if that domain name is not linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it's parked. Put simply, the domain address is registered and you're its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it could be directed to any other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and make certain that no one else is going to take it. Meanwhile, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted domain address within your account. In addition, you can park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main website in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Website Hosting

You are going to be able to park as many domain addresses as you would like with each of the website hosting plans which we offer. However, this feature is provided only for domain names registered here because the service is always provided only by the registrar. In contrast to most companies, we don't charge anything extra for parking a domain name and the process is going to take only a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia CP. We have a couple of parking templates to choose from where you can add custom text. If you decide to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account requires simply a click. Everything essential for the website to start showing up, like creating a domain folder and setting up DNS records will be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will enable you to view a full list of the domain names that you've registered through our company and you’ll be able to set a filter to view just the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

Our semi-dedicated servers don't have a set limit for the number of domain names you can park. This function is offered for domain names that are registered with our company and not ones that are only hosted, due to the fact that this service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really basic and takes a couple of mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager instrument, which you will be able to access via your Hepsia web hosting CP. You'll have a number of parking templates to choose from and you can add custom text to each of them - Under Construction, For Sale, Parked Domain, and the like. Un-parking a domain is just as simple and what is more, our system will set up all the required records and it'll set up a folder inside the File Manager section automatically, so you will not need to do anything manually.
